Center for Urban Bioethics NTT Faculty Opportunity / Critical Social Scientist Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Summary of Opportunity The Center for Urban Bioethics (CUB) at Temple University’s Lewis Katz School of Medicine is excited to welcome applicants for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor. CUB’s educational mission is targeted primarily to future and current medical professionals and researchers with the goal of creating more equity-focused, racially literate and trauma-informed professionals. Urban Bioethics is guided by its attention to agency, capacity, social justice, and solidarity. The successful candidate will be a scholar-practitioner whose interests complement those of the existing faculty and CUB’s educational mission. The position is a hard-money funded teaching position, with 10% protected research time in order to contribute to the continuous development of scholarship in these areas.
