Florida International University (FIU) Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine seeks applicants for faculty positions at the Assistant/Associate Professor level, in the Division of Family and Community Medicine, Department of Humanities, Health, and Society. The selected candidates will join a team developing innovative approaches to medical education and care focused on the needs of South Florida's culturally diverse communities. While training future physicians, we aim to improve quality of life in our community. Duties include primary care practice, teaching, administration, and scholarship.
Minimum qualifications include a terminal degree in the medical sciences (M.D. or D.O.). Must be board certified or obtain Board Certification within one (1) year of employment. Must have an unrestricted Florida medical license or be able to obtain a medical license in the state of Florida.
