Overview

Our dedicated team of researchers, clinicians, and scientists collaborates to drive discovery and innovation in healthcare. This role will be tasked with oversight of Human Subjects Research in a variety of areas across the health system.
What You Can Expect:
- Direct strategic planning, in dyad partnership with the Director Clinical Research, to align research priorities and deliver upon commitments.
- Train and oversee site Research Medical Directors and investigators within the Research Center of Excellence ensuring the quality and scientific integrity of all aspects of clinical research.
- Lead Research Council of physician research leaders.
- Direct human research protections program under delegated authorities of Institutional Official.
- Oversee research compliance program with emphasis on investigator compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), regulations and institutional policies/procedures.
Develop understanding of SLHS organizational structure including Centers of Excellence, key partners and leaders, and how to work with cross functional governance to oversee and navigate Research activities and projects.
Develops and oversees external academic, community agency, local business and other partnerships to advance healthcare delivery (Applied) research.
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduation from an accredited school of Medicine or Osteopathy and successful completion of an accredited residency program
- Experience: 6 years of relevant experience including leadership and Clinical Research Administrative experience
- Licenses/Certifications: Upon hire, Idaho medical licensure. Previous Board certification for Medical Doctors (MD/DO)
