Postdoctoral Research Fellow - Craniofacial Development and Disease
DescriptionThe Brugmann Lab is looking for a postdoctoral fellow interested in combining developmental and computational biology to further our understanding of craniofacial development and disease.Craniofacial abnormalities (CFAs) are associated with approximately one-third of all birth defects. Patients with a CFA represent a biomedical burden nearly 45 times higher than unaffected children; and in the U.S. alone, the lifetime cost for treating children born with CFAs is approximately $697 million per year. The Brugmann laboratory focuses on understanding the molecular, cellular, and genetic factors that guide craniofacial development.
