RESEARCH FELLOW - Systems Biology of HIV Infection
DescriptionThe Spearman and Hagan labs in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Cincinnati Children's Hospital are seeking a postdoctoral fellow in systems biology of HIV infection in the central nervous system and its role in the development of HIV-associated neurocognitive disorder (HAND). HIV infects brain macrophages and microglia early following acute infection. Neurological involvement in HIV pathogenesis is commonly associated with a spectrum of cognitive impairments.
