Postdoctoral Research Fellow - Erythropoiesis
DescriptionA postdoctoral Research Fellow position is available in the Kalfa Lab to work on studying novel candidate gene mutations identified in patients with untypable congenital dyserythropoietic anemia (CDA) and the corresponding genes and pathways critical for normal erythropoiesis. The candidate will use cell biology and molecular biology approaches and utilize erythropoiesis cultures in vitro with patient-derived iPSCs and erythroid cell lines after introduction of the mutation(s) in question. We seek a candidate who is enthusiastic about driving projects from experiments to analysis to manuscript preparation and submission. MAJOR
