Staff Research Associate I - Neurology
DescriptionUnder the general supervision of the Principal Investigator, the Staff Research Associate I (SRA I) will conduct studies with a mouse model of stroke and testing of the cellular effects of drug and biological therapeutics. The SRA I will have had previous experience with survival surgery in rodents, transcardial perfusion, PCR, Western blot, drug administration to rodents, immunohistochemistry and stroke modeling in mice. Duties include, but are not limited to: perform precise stereotaxic surgeries on mice, process tissue for histological, and immunohistochemical stains, transcardial perfusion, PCR and Western blot. You will independently run research projects on mouse behavioral recovery after stroke,
