Staff Research Associate I
DescriptionThe Department of Molecular and Medical Pharmacology is hiring a Staff Research Associate I to conduct routine molecular biology experiments, including PCR, western blotting, molecular cloning, and tissue culture with 2D mammalian cell lines. Responsibilities include cell line expansion, cancer biology assays, mycoplasma testing, cell line fingerprinting, and freezing/thawing cell lines. The associate will analyze experimental results, maintain detailed records, and ensure a clean, organized lab while adhering to safety regulations. Duties also include cleaning glassware, autoclaving, maintaining equipment and supplies, preparing basic stock solutions, ordering lab supplies, developing safety protocols
