Staff Research Associate II - Neurology
DescriptionUnder the general supervision of the PI, the Staff Research Associate II (SRA II) will conduct studies with a mouse model of white matter stroke examining acute injury mechanisms to axons and oligodendrocytes. The SRA II will have had prior training and experience with rodent survival surgeries and other techniques. Additionally, you must have prior experience in neuroscience or related field and be able to operate independently when performing experiments. Duties include, but are not limited to: perform precise stereotactic surgeries on mice, handle and inject lentiviral constructs into brain, process tissue for histological and immunohistochemical stains, independently run research project(s) on mous
