Medicine and Society - Foundational Science (Medical Faculty, Open Rank)
Central Michigan University College of Medicine (CMED) is seeking a highly qualified faculty member to join our Foundational Sciences Discipline. The successful candidate will have broad training in medical ethics, law, health systems, social determinants of health, medical research, and/or medical humanities to co direct and teach the Medicine and Society course. The successful candidate will assume a role in the ongoing improvement of a highly integrated, cross-disciplinary, clinical presentation and inquiry-based medical school curriculum that includes Case-Based and Team-Based Learning. This role will also include facilitating small-group Problem-Based Learning case discussions and may include teaching elective courses in the candidate’s content area.
