Dr. Chaudhuri is a Professor in the Immunology Program at Sloan Kettering Institute whose lab studies the mechanism of immunoglobulin gene diversification. Together, they are recruiting a post-doctoral scientist with a strong interest in basic and translational research focused on the mechanism of anti-tumor activity of B cells in solid tumors and in response to immune checkpoint blockade. Mechanistic studies using standard molecular biology assays, bioinformatics, as well as mouse modeling are part of the research program. There will also be significant emphasis on translational studies using human tumors. Candidates with experience strong molecular and tumor biology background with an interest tumor immunology. The candidate will have the opportunity to interact with investigators with expertise in breast cancer biology, immunology, translational therapeutics and exposure to/participation in correlative studies in clinical trials.
PhD or MD/PhD equivalent in biological science is required. Proficiency with molecular biology, biochemistry, transgenic mice, RNA-seq, biospecimen handling, DNA, RNA, and protein assays is required.
