The Center for Bioethics and Humanities at SUNY Upstate Medical University (Syracuse, NY) seeks to fill a tenure-track position in bioethics at the rank of Assistant Professor.
The Center is particularly interested in applicants enthusiastic about teaching and whose professional work demonstrates accomplishment and commitment to effecting social and policy change as related to health care. The person in this position will teach bioethics in diverse settings throughout the medical university (including medicine, health professions, and the hospital), conduct and publish research in bioethics, and have opportunities for clinical ethics activities at associated hospitals.
